How does the filtration work?
How does the Joep Water Softener work?
Ion exchange as a basis: The Joep water softener replaces scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions with sodium ions.
Soft water straight from the tap: You get limescale-free water that is better for your skin, appliances, and taste.
Automatic regeneration: The resin rinses itself with saline solution once it is saturated.
Ready for a new cycle: After rinsing, the system will work like new again, without you having to do anything.
Your ideal system, exactly the way you want it.
The Source comes with a tap specifically designed for purified water. You have two options:
• Three-way tap: replaces your existing tap and combines hot, cold and purified water in one.
• One-way tap: a separate tap specifically for purified water, placed next to your current tap.
It is not possible to connect the Source to an existing tap, so you are always assured of optimal water quality.

The Source uses reverse osmosis technology. The water passes through multiple filtration stages, including an activated carbon filter and a semipermeable membrane, to remove up to 99% of unwanted substances.
