How does a Quooker tap work?
A Quooker tap provides 100°C boiling water instantly using a press-press-turn operation. The tap is connected to a reservoir under the sink that keeps water at temperature continuously. This means you always have boiling, hot, or cold water available immediately.
Benefits of a Quooker tap:
- No waiting time
- Safe thanks to child-proof operation
- Energy-efficient and space-saving
- Ideal for tea, pasta, or cleaning
Cool sparkling and filtered water from your Quooker tap
With the Quooker CUBE you can dispense chilled, filtered, and sparkling water from the same tap. This replaces your sparkling water maker and saves space and plastic bottles.
- Works with a CO₂ cylinder (60 liters per refill)
- Integrated with all Quooker models
- Useful for table water, lemonade, or cocktails

Common problems & solutions
No sparkling water
- Check whether the CO₂ cylinder is empty or installed correctly.
- Check whether the CUBE module is connected correctly and has sufficient pressure.
- Reset the CUBE according to the manual or contact the service department.
Only cold or warm water, no boiling water
- Check whether the reservoir is receiving power (fuse, plug).
- Was the push-push-turn control used correctly? Try again according to the instructions.
- The reservoir may be defective or the heating switched off. Switch it off and on again or have a technician take a look.
Leak under tap
- Check all connections, especially the couplings at the CUBE and reservoir.
- Replace worn sealing rings.
- Check that hose clamps are tightened securely.
Pressure loss or slow dispensing
- Check for blockages in the hose or tap.
- Check for air in the pipes; open a cold water tap briefly to let the air escape.
- Check if the water pressure in the house is sufficient (minimum recommended pressure).
More about the use and maintenance of your Quooker tap
A Quooker tap offers daily convenience in the kitchen: instant boiling, hot, cold, and sparkling water from a single tap. But to get the most out of your system, it’s helpful to know just a little more about operation, maintenance, and clever applications.
Usage tips for daily convenience
The Quooker's push-push-turn operation ensures both safety and simplicity. Use the boiling water for tea, pasta, or sterilizing kitchen utensils, and switch effortlessly to cold or hot water. With a CUBE module, you can also add chilled and sparkling water, which is ideal for soft drinks or sparkling table water without the need for plastic bottles.
A handy tip: use the pull-out hose (on the Flex model) to easily fill or clean larger pans or hard-to-reach areas. And don’t forget that with a Quooker, you not only save time but also energy and space.
Maintenance for long-term performance
To keep your Quooker in top condition, maintenance is essential. Descale the tank regularly—preferably once a year—and replace filters or CO₂ cylinders on time. Check the hoses and connections occasionally for leaks or wear. This prevents malfunctions and extends the lifespan of your system.
Do you have a CUBE? Make sure you have spare CO₂ cylinders on hand. Each cylinder provides approximately 60 liters of sparkling water. Has the fizz decreased? Then it is usually time for a replacement.
