Your tap above. The Source below.

You choose the design. Every set includes the same The Source 50 reverse-osmosis system with three standard filters.

  1. Your chosen drinking-water tap

A separate outlet beside your existing tap. For drinking water, coffee, tea and cooking.

  2. The Source 50

Reverse osmosis below the sink, with standard PRE, RO and POST filters.

  3. The standard setup

Without an additional mineral filter. It is optional, not required for normal use.

Starting and model prices exclude installation. Select ‘With installation’ on the product page to add a specialist and the required tap hole. Your selected total updates immediately. We assess the worktop and position beforehand.

Three things to check first.

Installation is about more than a tap hole. These three points determine whether the set is a good fit.

01

A place for the extra tap

A suitable existing hole may be usable. Otherwise, we assess a new hole in your sink or worktop.

02

Space under the sink

Allow space for The Source 50, tubing and filter changes. We take your waste pipe, drawers and other appliances into account.

03

Connections and water pressure

The Source uses the cold-water supply and needs a drain connection. Available water pressure is checked too.

Installation

Need another tap hole? It's part of our installation.

We use the same installation price as for our 3-in-1 taps. Any required tap-hole drilling is included. A specialist first assesses whether and where this is possible in your kitchen.

Installation including the required tap hole€299,00

Including VAT and drilling for the additional outlet, where the worktop and position are suitable. We agree on the installation with you beforehand.

    Show us your kitchen

Share a photo of your tap and worktop, plus the space under the sink. Include your postcode and worktop material if known.

  2. 02

    We discuss your options

We consider the space, access and a suitable position. If a new hole is needed, a specialist assesses the material, position and feasibility.

  3. 03

    Know what to expect

You know beforehand whether installation is feasible. Installation and the required tap hole use the same installation price as our 3-in-1 taps. We then schedule the work.

Ceramic, composite and natural stone need suitable expertise. Not every worktop can be drilled, toughened glass cannot be drilled after tempering. Have your kitchen assessed first.

Maintenance

One clear maintenance moment each year.

Our recommendation for The Source 50 is straightforward: replace the complete standard filter set every 12 months. That means the PRE filter, RO membrane and POST filter together.

An additional mineral filter is optional and not included by default. If selected, replace it every 6 months. The annual standard set remains the foundation.

Know what you are choosing.

Reverse osmosis uses a membrane to reduce dissolved substances in water. The system also discharges water in the process. Exact performance depends on the model, water quality and maintenance.

Dutch tap water is drinkable. Additional filtration is a choice based on your preferences and taste, not a reason for concern.

Your questions

Ask PureAqua your question
Am I buying only a tap, or is the filter system included?

You are buying a complete set: your chosen tap plus The Source 50 reverse-osmosis system with the standard filters. You do not need to order The Source separately. Choose with or without installation on the product page. ‘With installation’ automatically adds the installation product and updates the total, including the required tap hole after assessment.

Can I keep my kitchen tap or Quooker?

Yes, that is the purpose of this setup. The separate drinking-water tap receives filtered water through its own line from The Source 50. Your existing mixer or boiling-water tap continues to work independently. This set does not filter the water from your existing tap.

How is this different from a 3-in-1 drinking-water tap?

This separate tap stands alongside your existing tap and supplies filtered drinking water only. A 3-in-1 tap replaces your kitchen mixer and supplies hot, cold and filtered water from one tap. Both solutions use a filtration system below the sink.

Does it also provide boiling, chilled or sparkling water?

No. This set is designed for filtered drinking water. It has no boiler, active cooling or sparkling-water function. If you want those features, ask us which other solution would suit you.

Can you arrange an extra tap hole, and what does it cost?

The required tap hole is included in our installation price, the same price as for 3-in-1 taps. We first assess whether the material, condition, position and support of your worktop are suitable. Many stone, composite and ceramic worktops can be specialist-drilled. Toughened glass cannot be drilled after tempering.

What do I need below the sink?

Space for The Source 50, a cold-water connection, a drain connection, and enough room for tubing and filter changes. Show us your waste pipe, drawers, waste bin and any boiling-water system too. Photos help us provide more specific advice.

Do I have to install the set myself?

No. Select ‘With installation’ on the product page to add installation to your order. We agree on the placement with you beforehand and assess any new tap hole. If you choose ‘Without installation’, arrange installation yourself or with your own installer. Follow the manual for the exact version and leave drilling into delicate worktops to a suitable specialist.

How often do I replace the filters?

PureAqua's replacement policy for The Source 50 is to replace the complete standard set every 12 months: PRE filter, RO membrane and POST filter. Replace an optional additional mineral filter every 6 months. Always check the model and compatible filters for an existing system.

Is an additional mineral filter included by default?

No. The standard set has three filters and no additional mineral filter. The POST filter polishes the taste. An additional mineral filter is optional, not required for normal use.

Does this filter or soften water throughout my home?

No. This solution treats the water dispensed from the separate drinking-water tap. Water from your existing tap and other outlets stays unchanged. A whole-home water softener is a different solution.

What's different about AquaPure, AquaFlow, AquaPulse and AquaSplash?

You choose a different tap design and finish. All four sets on this page contain the same The Source 50 system. AquaPure, AquaFlow and AquaSplash are chrome; AquaPulse is stainless steel. Compare the design and have the position in your kitchen checked first.

Are there drawbacks to reverse osmosis?

The system needs space below the sink, filters must be replaced on time, and some water is discharged during filtration. Water pressure and quality affect operation. That's why we assess your kitchen and connections before installation.
