What is the Quooker CUBE?

The Quooker CUBE is an additional reservoir for your Quooker tap that allows you to dispense not only boiling, hot, and cold water, but also chilled and sparkling water. The compact CUBE reservoir is placed in the kitchen cabinet next to the existing Quooker reservoir and is connected to a CO₂ cylinder. One cylinder provides approximately 60 liters of sparkling water, after which you can easily replace it yourself.

A 5-in-1 tap: boiling, hot, cold, chilled and sparkling water

By default, a Quooker provides boiling, hot, and cold water. With the CUBE, you get chilled and sparkling water as well, meaning one tap can supply all types of water. Operating it is simple: for boiling water, you press twice and turn the ring; for sparkling water, you press once and turn. If you hold the button down slightly longer, you get filtered water. A light ring indicates with red or blue which type of water you are dispensing. This makes it virtually impossible to accidentally select boiling water when you want sparkling or chilled water.

How does the Quooker CUBE work?

Compact installation

The CUBE is installed compactly next to the existing Quooker reservoir in your kitchen cabinet. A CO₂ cylinder creates sparkling water; the integrated cooling system provides water at approximately 5–12 °C. Using the control ring on the tap, you choose whether you want regular, chilled, or sparkling water. The CUBE is compatible with all Quooker taps (Fusion, Flex, Front, Nordic, and future models) and can also be added later.

Filters and microplastic purification

The CUBE reservoir contains two filters: an activated carbon filter that removes chlorine and improves odor and taste, and a hollow-fibre filter with a pore size of only 0.1 micrometers. This ultra-fine filter removes bacteria and even microplastics from the water. According to Quooker, the filters only need to be replaced once a year; when the reservoir starts beeping, it is time for new filters. Thanks to this filtration, you can safely drink tap water without microplastics or pharmaceutical residues.

CO₂ cylinders and maintenance

A CO₂ cylinder provides an average of 60 liters of sparkling water. As soon as the sparkling water becomes less fizzy, the cylinder is empty and you can easily replace it without tools. Quooker recommends always having a spare cylinder at home. For a longer vacation, you can switch off the CUBE via the display to save energy. Additionally, cleaning the fan annually helps to extend its lifespan.
