Frequently Asked Questions
What does “3-in-1” mean for the UNITO ACE BOIL tap?
The name says it all: with the ACE BOIL you can draw cold, hot, and 100 °C boiling water from a single tap. Ideal for tea, boiling pasta, or simply washing your hands—everything from one sleek tap.
How much energy does the UNITO ACE BOIL tap consume?
During use, the maximum power consumption is 1550 watts. In standby mode, the tap consumes almost nothing, just 0.35 watts. The heat loss amounts to approximately 3.5 watts per hour, comparable to a small light bulb.
Is the UNITO ACE BOIL safe for children?
Yes, the ACE BOIL tap has a child-safety mechanism. To dispense boiling water, you must press and turn a special knob, preventing children from accessing it easily.
Do I need a hot water pipe?
No, that is not necessary. If your kitchen does not have a hot water pipe, you can use a mixing valve that heats up the cold water.
How large and heavy is the boiler?
The water heater fits easily into a kitchen cabinet. The dimensions are approximately 22 × 28 × 37 cm. When empty, it weighs about 4 kg, and when filled with water, approximately 8.5 kg.
Do I need a filter?
That depends on your water. If you live in an area with hard water (above 10 °dH), we recommend a water filter or softener . This prevents limescale, extends the lifespan, and is required to maintain the warranty.
